Tagged Again !!!

Tagged! Again! This time, it’s to list 3 of my favorite books. Yes, that was correct, THREE. Oh! Man! Justly deserved penalty!

Thanx Arun- the man who tagged me, Well lemme try,

1. To Kill a Mockingbird By Harper Lee
Did you know: The novel is renowned for its warmth and humor, despite dealing with serious issues of rape and racial inequality. British librarians ranked the book ahead of the Bible as one "every adult should read before they die".

2. Gone with the Wind By Margaret Mitchell
Did you know: It is the only novel by Mitchell published during her lifetime, and it took her ten years to write it. Oh!

3. The Godfather By Mario Puzo
Did you know: Much controversy surrounds the title of the book and its underworld implications. The term The Godfather was first used in connection with the Mafia during Joe Valachi's testimony during the 1963 Congressional Hearing on Organized Crime.

Now reading: Are You Afraid of the Dark (Sydney Sheldon), Once I finish this, I will soon go and grab Morning Noon and Night by Sydney Sheldon.

Now, the best part,
I hereby tag:
Hari (he’ll kill me)
Sunshine
The layman (howzaaat…..?)
Mixed Blessings 89

Here it goes....
"Love is only a dirty trick played on us to achieve continuation of the species." -W. Somerset Maugham, A Writer's Notebook
"Software development, like professional sports, has a way of making 3O year old men feel decrepit."
Snow Crash by Neal Stephenson
"Success is a lousy teacher."
The Road Ahead by Bill Gates
"It is chloroform in print." (this comment is on a boring book)
Roughing It by Mark Twain
"I'm a genius, but I'm a misunderstood genius."
"What's misunderstood about you?"

Some people make me sick

Stop telling me that “you have to complete this work by EOD”
I will not, I’ll complete as much as possible, rest… I don’t care!

Stop telling me “No Drinking, No Smoking”
I’ve been taught the ill effects too…

Stop telling me that “U’d look great if you lose some pounds”.
I know I am FAT.

Stop telling me that I’ve got a lot of pimples recently.
It’s quite annoying. I have a mirror, I can count and I know four is greater than three.

Stop telling me it’s important to look good.
What do you have to offer if I do?

Stop telling me that “Life is full of Ups and Downs”
I did not complain, did I?

Stop telling me that “your decision to switch profession was fallacious”
U have a problem?

Stop telling me that “you are the best in my life, but you also have reasons to leave me”
You SUCK!

Dedicated to my friend…

She always had that smile on her face, fake, may be she didn't want others to know the mental anguish............

“Hide the pain, carry on, Routine is the key. Don't let on that you're not, what you're pretending to be.”

Alone she read, alone she dream, she like her music loud, and fault her faultless fate. One thing was sure, all she wanted was to hide, hide the catastrophic pain.

“Lock it all up inside you, How badly that bodes. Look out for that one day, when it all just explodes.”

Alone she made the decision to end it up all, she didn’t know how many people would later cry, the knife slashed her wrist, the blood poured out.

“Tried to be free, yet I see that wasn’t the way. Her life goes on. Now she has nothing to hide except for the big ugly mark on her wrist."
